To be successful, the Society depends on not only the support of its members and donors but also partnership with local businesses. We like to think that the Society helps La Jollans connect to their rich heritage and we welcome local businesses to partner in that effort.
How can you help? One way is to become a partner of our newly-redesigned newsletter, Timekeeper. We believe that Timekeeper will be one of the finest newsletters in the region dedicated to local history. Introduced in Spring 2007, Timekeeper is a professional full-color quarterly publication featuring historical articles and images, updates on Society activities, advance notices on Society events, and profiles of local businesses like yours. A minimum one-year sponsorship is only $500 and, because your participation is not advertising, your contribution would be 100% tax-deductible.
What would be the return on your community investment?
- Name listed in each newsletter (logo included at higher levels) - Current newsletter readership is 1,130 and growing, with over 900 in La Jolla alone, so this is an opportunity to garner increased visibility.
- Name and link on the Society's website, www.lajollahistory.org - Hundreds of hits per day, and growing!
- Name on the Society's Donor Wall - High profile public recognition on display outside our offices on Eads Street, seen by hundreds of visitors every year.
