The Heartbeat of La Jolla - Service Clubs Giving Back to Our Community
Find how you can get involved with outstanding organizations
(January 18, 2007) - It is widely acknowledged that volunteers are the heart of any properly functioning nonprofit organization, greatly enhancing and complimenting the efforts of streamlined staff. Simply put, volunteers are critical and needed all the time.
To that end, the La Jolla Historical is pleased to announce its upcoming quarterly meeting, The Heartbeat of La Jolla - Service Clubs Giving Back to Our Community, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the La Jolla Presbyterian Church, 7715 Draper Avenue.
Representatives from such outstanding organizations as the La Jolla Soroptimists, La Jolla Kiwanis, La Jolla Rotary and the La Jolla Sunrise Rotary will describe what they do, review what's in store for the community, and explain how residents can get involved.
Make 2007 a rewarding experience by giving back to the community that gives so much. For more information please call the La Jolla Historical Society at (858) 459-5335 or visit www.ljhs.org.
