Family Day:

November 9 – painting

  • Patterson’s Palette: inspired by Patricia Patterson’s atmospheric use of color and light. A color-mixing and layering workshop where participants experiment with blending washes to create glowing scenes or abstract impressions of landscapes or interiors.

December 14 – still life collage

  • What’s on Your Table? Inspired by Farber’s cluttered compositions, participants will arrange cut out collage images of food, objects, or tools onto a paper “tabletop” telling stories about their everyday lives.

January 11 – collage & watercolor painting

  • Window Worlds: Inspired by Patterson’s blending of interior and exterior spaces. We will provide a paper frame shaped like a window. Participants will partially draw what is inside of their room and what is outside of the window.
